Our notes:

Aimee: Today was rough, but I feel like it has more to do with it being a Thursday than the lack of caffeine. Although, that being said, I did dream about a Strawberry Acai Refresher last night and I woke up convinced that I had lost the bet. The sugary sweetness is simply too irresistible. Instead, I ate an apple and some grapes when I got home. I found that substituting caffeine with similar, yet healthier, alternatives helped cure my cravings. 

Katya: The bet was almost over and everything in me longed for coffee, or at least a piece of chocolate. My mom bought delicious chocolate muffins and it took so much restraint not to eat them. Going to senior show practice right after school and then having back-to-back meetings  pushed me to the limit. I am a very competitive person, and this bet showed me that my competitiveness almost (and I say "almost" with great emphasis) beat my craving for coffee. I'll admit, not consuming caffeine definitely improved my mood. In the end, you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, and I missed the cold comfort of my white chocolate mocha with vanilla sweet cream cold foam.
